Best Galleries Infrared Photography at Melbourne Australian.
A few months ago I decided to dust off my old Nikon D300 and send it to the Camera Clinic in Melbourne Australian, so this is converted to digital infrared camera for Landscape Photography.
This process involves removing the bottom of the filter before Let the sensor and its replacement with an infrared filter. Then, auto focus and measurements are calibrated to the camera to be used sensor normally, as in other digital SLRs. As you can see that it can still capture a limited range of colors, but it depends mainly on how the camera is white balanced. If you do not own white balance, you can get almost monochrome images only hint of blue through. Leave it on Auto White Balance and you usually get a red cast over the whole image, which is difficult to cut the only real option is to move the picture in Black and White Landscape Photography in post.
Here’s some more examples shot outdoors and edited with Nikon Software and Adobe Photoshop CS3.
